WELCOME

HEAL was founded in 2007 after our Executive Director, Jennifer Musick Wright, traveled to Kenya to volunteer at an orphanage. After witnessing the issues facing children, she knew she had to do something to help. Almost 10 years later, her determination, perseverance and the support of so many individuals and organizations have resulted in the creation of a community of people who are committed to helping as many children in need as possible. The problems facing our world can be overwhelming, but, if we each do our part, we can make the world a better place.

OUR
MISSION

HEAL is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization committed to raising our world, one child at a time. We recognize that poverty and disease have forced innocent children to live in unbearable conditions. HEAL seeks to design and implement progressive models for orphanages that encompass the four characteristics of HEAL: Health, Education, Ample Nutrition and Love.

Health: Every child has the right to proper health care.

Education: Every child has the right to a quality education.

Ample Nutrition: Every child has the right to a balanced diet.

Love: Every child has the right to be loved.
