Currently we have 25 boys living in a small building. When we purchased the property in 2010, this building was the only structure in existence. We have renovated it over the years using temporary materials, but the time has come to construct a permanent building. Our boys are living in an unsafe and congested environment.
The new building will accommodate 80 children, which means we will be able to welcome more boys of all ages to our facility. One wing will house primary-aged children and the other wing will house secondary-aged children. There will be a common area, an appropriate number of toilets and bathrooms, including indoor plumbing and solar water heaters. There are no words to properly describe how this building will change the lives of our children.
