During my recent trip to Kenya, I had the privilege of reconnecting with Ann, a remarkable graduate of Rapha Secondary School. Ann’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of our community. When she first arrived at Rapha, she was a young girl with big dreams but limited opportunities. Yet, through the support and guidance she received at our school, Ann blossomed, discovering her passions and talents.

After graduating from Rapha, Ann went on to attend college, where she diligently pursued dual degrees in technology and culinary arts. Today, she stands proud, holding not one, but two impressive credentials – a testament to her hard work and determination. She is pursuing her goal of working in a bakery and restaurant where she can further her skills.

When I asked Ann what Rapha meant to her, her response was both humbling and powerful: “Rapha changed my life.” These words speak volumes about the profound impact our school has had on the lives of students like Ann.
