The new school year is off to a great start at Rapha Community Center. Everywhere you look, there are signs of vibrant life. Steady rains have helped our flowers to bloom, and our crops to thrive. It is the first year since before the pandemic that we will have a good harvest of fruits and vegetables for our children.

Our students are back in the classroom and we’re excited to see what this year will bring for them. As we welcomed new students to our program, we also celebrated the success of the students who graduated last year. The KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) exam results were released earlier this month. The students from Rapha Secondary School did well! We have a number of students who scored high enough to be accepted at a University. We’re so proud of them all!

I’d also like to thank everyone who donated to our recent annual giving campaign. We raised an incredible $57,645.77. I’m so grateful to our supporters who continue to extend their generosity to this work year after year. This money will directly impact the lives of our children and help us to create powerful progress within our community.

In one month, I will return to Kenya to visit our children. I can’t wait to see all of the progress in person. Your support has helped to make it all possible. Here’s to another amazing and successful year at Rapha Community Center.

With gratitude,
