When I returned from Kenya this past summer, I felt a sense of accomplishment unlike any of my other trips. Life was different at Rapha Community Center. I saw progress everywhere I looked. Our children drink clean water now. They eat fresh vegetables and fruits from our own farm. They are thriving because the well project is complete.

We have students enrolled in University. This is an incredible accomplishment on the part of our students and on the part of the teachers and administration at Rapha Secondary School. When I met with our graduates to discuss the way forward, they were so grateful to be a part of our community. Before they joined us, they had little hope for their future, let alone attending University, and now they are becoming future leaders of their country.

The environment at Rapha Community Center is brimming with love, gratitude and hope for the future. There’s a new sense of purpose, and together, we are ready to conquer the next phase in our development. We have four major construction projects to complete and several minor projects we plan to finish over the next year. All of these are outlined here. Our top priority is to construct a new dormitory for our boys. As you’ll see in the included photos, the temporary dormitory that we’ve been using is no longer a safe place for them to live. We must construct a new facility for them as soon as possible.

Every single project we have planned is essential for the future of our children, and we need the help of our entire community of donors and volunteers to reach our goal. This year I’m asking you to dig deeper than ever before, to open your heart even more than you think is possible. Please give as generously as you are able. The children at Rapha Community Center need your help now. Please give as generously as you are able. Thank you for joining me on this journey. Every single contribution makes a difference. Together we are raising our world, one child at a time.

Sincerely,
