THEIR TALENT IS REMARKABLE
The How to Draw a Lion art program has transformed lives in our community, inspiring creativity and opening doors to incredible opportunities for our students.
Through this program, many of our graduates have discovered their artistic talents and pursued meaningful careers in the arts. Samuel Kinyua, one of our proud alumni, is now the Director of Operations for How to Draw a Lion. Samuel’s journey is a testament to the power of art and mentorship.
This year, I am equally proud to spotlight Edward and Ann, who graduated from Rapha in 2022. Earlier this year, they returned to inspire the next generation by assisting Samuel in our How to Draw a Lion art class.
Edward joined Rapha as a young boy. Since graduating, he has earned a certificate in art. Today, he runs his own business, creating and selling stunning artwork.
Ann has excelled academically, earning degrees in technical arts and catering. Her dream is to open her own restaurant. I continue to be inspired by her determination and creativity.
Their artwork is featured in our annual art auction this year. Bidding is open now through Sunday, November 24, at 8:00 PM. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the children at Rapha Community Center.
I invite you to explore their beautiful pieces and place a bid today. Your support is a unique opportunity to champion the incredible work happening in Kenya and invest in the dreams of our children. Together, we are creating brighter futures through art and opportunity.
With gratitude,
Jennifer Musick Wright
