SUSTAINABILITY IS OUR GOAL

Rapha Community Center is located on 12 acres of land in the central highlands of Kenya. The land is ideal for farming. At this time, approximately 1/3 of our land is cultivated. We grow a number of crops including maize, cabbage, kale, spinach, beans, peas, potatoes, tomatoes, butternut squash, onions and much more! The children enjoy a varied diet which keeps them healthy and strong. The recent addition of a bore hole has allowed us to strategize our growing seasons to accommodate for the feeding of our entire community. We sell the surplus produce at the local market to generate income for the Center. In addition to our farm, we have started a cow project that provides milk for our children. Any surplus is also sold to the local community.

As we continue our development, we look forward to operating even more income generating projects that will reduce our overall budget, but also produce income to support Rapha Community Center on a regular basis.

CLEAN WATER IS A GIFT

The children at Rapha Community Center have access to clean water. The completion of our bore hole has completely transformed our community. We will forever be thankful to everyone contributed to this important project.
